Listado de variables según estado del estuche y disco:
-Still Sealed (SS): Como su nombre indica es un vinilo que nunca ha sido abierto y nunca ha sido escuchado.
-Mint (M): Perfecto, casi como si acabase de salir de la fábrica, no tiene marcas ni etiquetas y al escucharlo no hay ningún "Scratch"
-Near Mint (NM): Casi perfecto, puede tener alguna imperfección pero mínimas
-Excellent (EX/VG++): Las
orillas pueden presentar algún desgaste por el almacenaje pero el
sonido es perfecto. La portada puede tener ligeras imperfecciones
practicamente invisibles
-Very Good Plus (VG+): Igual
que el anterior pero puede presentar pequeñas marcas del anillo
exterior del vinilo y el libreto puede estar un poco amarillento por los
años; la portada puede tener desgastes que si se notan.
-Very Good (VG): La
portada muestra un ligero maltrato al igual que el disco donde se
aprecian rayaduras y "Scratches" pero que no desvirtúan el sonido. Es
posible que tenga marcas de boli, pero no de rotulador; se nota la forma
del vinilo en la parte de atrás de la funda
-Good (G): La
funda muestra ya "cicatrices" y la portada puede estar doblada, con las
orillas rotas en incluso arreglada con cinta transparente, nunca con
cinta de embalar o algo peor. Se puede notar la circunferencia del disco
en ambos lados, y este puede estar rayado pero se tiene que oir aunque
posea "Scratches" de vez en cuando y se escuche el clásico silbido
-Poor (P): Un disco rayado, con la portadas y la funda destrozadas. Carecen de valor, sirven para completar alguna colección pero nada más
List of vinyl gradings:
-Mint (M): we use MINT only for records which are truelly new & never played, coming straight from the ditributor, label or grosssale.
-Near Mint (NM): No
damages , extremly minor wear and no noise except maybe in the early
beginning. No visible marks, which cannot be washed away. Probably only
played a few times so far.For old records: you won't find them in better
condition
-Excellent (EX/VG++): For
the casual Collector, this is a still a decent record. No Damages ,
only minor wear, even it is obviously an used record., hairline
scratches could possibly be found but, no annoying noises during play
must be expected.
-Very Good (VG): can
be compared to a good fleemarket record. can have significant signs of
use but no damages. It may be noise but never the whole way trough. No
Jumps, No Cuts.
-Good (G): cover
can have some damages,like seams splits, torn , ringwear, folds but not
seriously torn or painted in an unbearable way.vinyl can have
continously low level noise, also some scratches might be found
-Poor (P): you would probably buy an poor record for the cover or a poor cover for the record
